Frank Dale establishes the company in July 1946 in post-war London, trading in Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars.
1957–1965
The company becomes established with offices and a showroom in Paddington. Mr Dale’s youngest stepson Ivor Gordon joins the business in 1959.
1966–1972
The company moves to a new premises in Holbein Place, just off Sloane Square in Chelsea. Mr Dale’s eldest stepson John Gordon joins the business in 1965.
1972–1985
The company moves to a much larger premises in Farm Lane Fulham, encompassing showroom, workshops and trimming facilities. James Crickmay joins the business in 1980.
1985–1999
The company moves to King Street in Hammersmith to again larger premises. The companies founder passes away and John Gordon retires in 1995.
2000–2020
The company moves further west to Harlequin Avenue in Brentford. Giles Crickmay and Greg West join the company in 2006. Emma Crickmay joins the company in 2015. James Crickmay passes away in 2015 and Ivor Gordon passes away in 2016.
2020–Present Day
The company moves out of London for the first time, with large premises in Sandhurst in Surrey where we are currently situated.
