Frank Dale Comment

We supplied this late production Bentley R Type Continental to a new customer in the US who visited London to see numerous cars that were available at the time. He chose this car and purchased it from us but the red coachwork at point of purchase was not to his taste. The original colour of the car in 1955 was Circassian blue, so he instructed a detailed cosmetic restoration of the coachwork, plus a thorough review of all other aspects of the car. The completed car, returned to its original colour, looked fabulous and was shipped to his home in the US. Shortly after its arrival in the States, in 2018, his Bentley was invited to be shown at the prestigious Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, so we travelled to Florida to see the owner and support his entry into the event. To his delight, and ours, his Bentley was awarded Best in Class honours, something we were incredibly proud of. To see one of our restorations recognised and rewarded at this prestigious event was a great moment for the owner and for us too.
