We acquired this car in quite original and worn condition, finished at the time in silver sand over coffee bean brown with a dark brown leather interior. The new owner liked the shape and specification of the car, but wasn’t keen on the colours, so he instructed us to overhaul the car mechanically and to prepare it to his taste cosmetically. The engine was removed and overhauled, a new wiring loom was fitted, and the engine bay and chassis/underside cosmetics were restored. Air conditioning was added, along with period looking seat belts and hidden speakers to completement the modern stereo installed in the glovebox. The completed car looked utterly striking in black with a red interior and was enjoyed on a regular basis by the new owner.
