A lovely late production example car, with power hood, power steering but also the rarely seen option of power windows. We had known this car for many years prior to acquiring it in 2012. It was finished at that time in sable (non-metallic medium brown) with a beige interior. At point of sale, the new owner took the car and used it for around a year before returning it to us for a comprehensive restoration, finished in his chosen livery of bronze with a tan leather interior. We completed an extensive mechanical overhaul as well as concours condition restoration of the woodwork, chrome, engine bay and chassis cosmetics. Air conditioning was also added, making this wonderful S1 Continental perhaps the ultimate specification for a right-hand drive example of this model. Over a decade later, the car still looks every bit as good as the day we completed these works, testament to the longevity that our restorations provide.
