We supplied this beautiful low mileage example a few years ago to a new customer, which was in sound but completely original condition at point of sale. The owner loved the car but had concours ambitions and asked us to slowly improve the car during the winter months over a course of 2-3 years, showing that a restoration can in some cases be executed in stages over time. The coachwork was subtly improved only in the areas that needed attention. The interior was looked at in the same light, retaining the originality but subtlety lifting the overall condition where possible. The engine bay cosmetics were addressed and restored as the final major task. The completed car then went on to win numerous concours events much to the delight of the owner. It was also invited to be displayed at the RAC Club in Pall Mall for a week, a tremendous honour and another proud moment for our team.
