This car was purchased in the United States by an existing client and sent to our facility in the UK for review. Upon arrival and an initial inspection, it was clear that the car needed significant work and so a complete nut and bolt restoration was instructed, with only the black leather being retained which was just lightly and charmingly patinated. The red coachwork was in a heavily corroded state and required significant structural work. The chrome was restored as well as the chassis and engine bay cosmetics. The original single headlights had been removed years before, and the front wings were replaced with the later twin headlight Series III wings, which the owner liked and asked us to retain. The completed car looked superb, finished in Tudor grey with a matching everflex hood. A very attractive car which the owner was delighted with, showing it at Salon Prive once the works were completed.
