Mechanical Restoration

When carrying out a complete restoration we begin with the mechanical aspects of the car in question, usually removing the body from the chassis or sub frames. With complete access to all of the mechanical aspects of the car, everything is carefully removed and stripped down for analysis. We crack test and X ray numerous key items to check their structural integrity and then look for signs of wear or internal damage. Once each component has been thoroughly analysed, the overhaul process begins. During the overhaul process, or once complete, each item is also cosmetically restored and then prepared to be refitted to the chassis or sub frames. The result is a rolling chassis that looks like new and, once completed with all the relevant electrical works, drives like new too.
