Maybe not the most exotic model to appear in this collection of Past Masters we have handled over the years, but a very worthy entrant all the same. This 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II saloon was supplied direct to Cubby Broccoli which he kept as his personal car for many years after filming for A View to A Kill was completed. The car acted as Bonds mode of transport whilst visiting the famous stables at Chantilly. His driver and fellow agent Patrick Macnee met a grisly end in the movie when he was “eliminated” by Grace Jones and pushed into a lake in he Rolls-Royce. Thankfully a stunt double car was used for the lake scene, a rusty S1 saloon painted the same colour for the footage required.
